What is StreamCraftr
StreamCraftr is a custom virtual control panel for OBS.
You build it yourself using scene switches, overlays, audio, media triggers, whatever you like. Laid out how you want. Then you run your stream from there instead of babysitting OBS the whole time.
It talks to OBS directly so when you press something, it just happens. No lag, no weird config stuff.
Why I built it
I do web dev. I have a folder full of dead projects I thought were cool for two weeks and then abandoned.
This one I finished.
A friend of mine streams and I kept messing with his OBS setup. Got into the tools, the workflow, all of it. I don't stream much myself but I liked building for this space. Felt like the right project to actually see through.

It's empty right now. That's fine, everything starts empty.
If you want to get in early, help figure out what this becomes, or just lurk while it grows...all are great. Looking for a couple people who actually want to be involved, maybe a mod or two when it gets there.
Stream Kits
There's also Stream Kits (.sckit files) which are shareable StreamCraftr/OBS setups. Layout, scenes, assets all bundled. Someone sends you one, you import it (assets included), you're basically ready to go. I think that part has a lot of potential if people actually start sharing them.
Stream Kits only get good if people make them and share them, so that part's going to take time. But that's the idea...build up a library of real, usable streaming setups that people can actually learn from or build on.
The goal
- Make OBS feel less annoying to run.
- Give streamers a tool that hopefully improves the quality of their stream
- Build something people use.
- Grow a community around it, even if that takes a while.
